Bruce Swan

Managing Partner

Bruce D.C. Swan completed his high school studies at The Berkeley Institute and thereafter attended the Nigara College in Ontario, Canada in 2004. He obtained his Diploma from Ontario Colleges in Business Administration in 2007. Bruce continued on to Lakehead University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce.

Relocating to Leicester, UK, Bruce focused on his legal studies at University of Leicester where he graduated in 2011 with his LL.B. To complete his legal studies, he went on to study at the Leicester Institute of Legal Practice at De Montfort University and graduated with his diploma in legal studies in 2012.

Bruce promptly returned to Bermuda and began his legal career at a local law firm, Apex Law Group, as a Pupil. He was called to the Bermuda Bar on August 16, 2013. He remained at Apexprimarily as a Litigation Counsel appearing in Magistrates, Supreme and Court of Appeals in Bermuda. Bruce has also advised on multi-million dollar deals with Apex, but also advised on local limited liability companies.

Bruce joined Bruce Swan & Associates in October 2019 as Managing Partner and has began to advise on multiple issues and matters.

Bruce has been married to his wife, Headilene Stephenson-Swan, since 2016. He is a member of the following charities and sporting bodies:
